About Fleshcraft
Fleshcraft, Combat, designed by Pete Venters first released in October 1996 in the set Sabbat and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
Fleshcraft fits a **Vicissitude intercept or combat-control deck** that expects to block stealthy minions repeatedly: landing it at superior Vicissitude makes that minion easier to block later. Its weakness is that the strike deals only 1 damage, and the target can remove the attachment with an action—albeit one that costs them tempo. If your main goal is to win combat, **Chiropteran Marauder** or **Breath of the Dragon** are generally stronger uses of a combat-card slot; Fleshcraft is worth considering only when the lasting stealth penalty is central to your blocking plan. I would treat it as a niche inclusion, not a staple.
Rules
10/08/2026
The action to burn Fleshcraft suffers the -1 stealth penalty as well, so is usually at zero stealth to start (or -1 stealth if superior [VIC]). [LSJ 19970224]

The rest of the effect applies if the damage is prevented, it does not if it is dodged. [LSJ 19990106-2]
