About Blur

Blur, Combat, designed by Harold Arthur McNeill, Ken Meyer, Jr. first released in August 1994 in the set Jyhad and was printed exactly in 9 different ways.

Blur fits an **aggressive CEL combat deck** whose vampires can make each extra strike count, especially with guns or other repeatable, high-damage strikes. At superior CEL, getting two additional strikes from one card is powerful, but the 1-blood cost adds up, and it does little if you cannot reach range or your opponent ends combat. **Pursuit** is often the better general-purpose inclusion because it is free and offers flexibility, though it provides fewer strikes. Blur should see play as a selective inclusion in strike-heavy decks that reliably use both extra strikes, rather than as an automatic staple in every Celerity deck.
