Shade

حول Shade

Shade, Retainer, صمم بواسطة Stuart Beel صدر لأول مرة في أكتوبر 1996 في التحرير Sabbat وطبع بالضبط في 3 أشكال مختلفة.

Shade is best in a dedicated close-range combat deck, especially a Lasombra or other `Obtenebration` deck that can reliably keep the opposing minion at close range and expects multiple rounds of combat; it is less attractive in typical Lasombra stealth or gun decks, where combat often happens at long range or is avoided. Its advantages are the low cost, automatic damage that does not use the vampire’s strike, and three life at superior `OBT`, but the effect is conditional, slow, and vulnerable to the retainer being removed or the combat ending before it matters. For most combat decks, `Ghoul Retainer` is generally better because the extra strength improves every close-range strike and works immediately, while `Wolf Companion` or `Mr. Winthrop` can also provide more reliable combat value depending on the deck. Shade can see play as a thematic or metagame choice in a low-cost, attrition-oriented close-combat deck, but it is usually a support option rather than a staple and should not be
