Additional damage inherits all of the properties of the base damage. [RTR 19970630] [TOM 19960225]

If another effect was already setting that round's range (e.g. {Neutral Guard}), that effect has priority. [PIB 20120214]

Once the range is set, no other effect can be used to reset the range that round, but other pre-range effects can be played afterwards. Skip the Determine Range step for that round. [RTR 19970630] [ANK 20180720]

Can be played on a strike that does no damage, even a dodge or a combat ends, but has no effect in that case. [RTR 19960221] [PIB 20130319]

If it is canceled, any blood cost (eg. {Terror Frenzy}) has to be paid. [PIB 20121031]

Is played during the Strike phase even if you commit to a strike in the Determine Range phase (eg. {Thrown Gate}). Cannot be played if the strike cannot be chosen anymore during the Strike phase (eg. {Immortal Grapple}). [LSJ 20080409]
