Roll 对需要稳定获得机动能力的战斗套牌很有帮助，尤其是近距离作战、希望避开对手远程攻击或让对手保持在射程内的套牌。它是免费的、可替换的战斗技巧，但延迟替换和每轮一次的限制使它不如可重复使用或更灵活的选项高效：对于拥有 Flight 的吸血鬼，**Swallowed by the Night** 通常更好，因为它能提供机动或压制，并且只要吸血鬼仍然就绪，就能从灰堆重复使用；如果你想要机动加额外攻击选项，**Blur** 也更强。Roll 仍然适合以 Flight 为核心、想再增加一个机动手段且不想消耗血液或满足派系要求的套牌，但通常只是低优先级的选择，而非必备牌。
