Wrong and Crosswise is most useful in a Dementation political or vote-control deck—especially a Malkavian deck that wants to survive bleeds while threatening opposing referendums—because it provides either an efficient bleed reduction or a powerful surprise +4 votes against a referendum, although paying 1 blood makes it somewhat expensive. For pure bleed defense, Deflection, Telepathic Counter, or Redirection are generally better because they offer more flexibility or stronger long-term protection; for advancing your own votes, Bewitching Oration, Awe, or Telepathic Vote Counting are usually more reliable because they can be used proactively and are not limited to the polling step. It should see play only in a dedicated Dementation political deck with enough blood gain and a real need for defensive vote power; it is too narrow and costly for most generic reaction packages, so I would usually include it as a small metagame-dependent package rather than an automatic staple.
