About Trophy: Wealth
Trophy: Wealth, Master, designed by David Day first released in februari 2005 in the set Kindred Most Wanted.
Wealth is best suited to a dedicated Red List trophy-hunting combat deck that also relies on expensive equipment: after a vampire earns the trophy by burning a Red List vampire, its five counters can cover equipment costs without draining your pool or that vampire’s blood. It is much less attractive in an ordinary equipment deck, because its zero printed cost hides the considerable effort of setting up and securing a trophy, and it provides no immediate economic benefit when simply played into your play area. **Alastor is generally better for equipment-focused decks that can meet its political and vampire requirements**, since it fetches equipment directly from your library, discounts its cost, and gives the equipped vampire a useful rush ability; **Villein or Minion Tap** are more broadly useful alternatives when your main concern is pool economy, although they do not directly subsidize equipment. Trophy: Wealth should therefore see occasional play in a purpose-built trophy deck with
