The Fourth Cycle, Event, ontworpen door Jeremy McHugh voor het eerst uitgebracht in april 2009 in de set 2009 Tournament / Storyline promo and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.

The Fourth Cycle mainly benefits a high-capacity, event-oriented deck that can reliably put two Gehenna events into play first, then use it as a reset against other event decks: it removes every Gehenna and conviction card, torporizes all vampires with capacity 3 or less, and prevents further Gehenna events. In practice, its requirement is too restrictive and its effect is symmetrical, making it especially dangerous for weenie and swarm decks while offering little value in ordinary games; there is no broadly better card with exactly the same effect, but general-purpose event control and vampire-removal options are usually more reliable because they do not require two specific events already being in play. Unless your local metagame contains frequent Gehenna or conviction strategies and your deck is built around larger vampires, The Fourth Cycle should generally not see play.
