About Shadow Body
Shadow Body, Combat, designed by Mike Dringenberg first released in oktober 1996 in the set Sabbat and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.
Shadow Body is best in an OBT toolbox or combat-oriented deck whose vampires regularly perform non-bleed, non-political actions—such as equipping, recruiting, hunting, or other utility actions—and want a blocked action to succeed while also ending combat; it is much less attractive in standard OBT bleed or political decks because it does nothing for those actions. Where available, Form of Mist is generally better: it provides stealth before the block and can also let the action continue after combat, whereas Shadow Body only helps once the vampire has already been blocked, although Shadow Body remains useful in decks with OBT but not superior Obfuscate and as a combat-ending option. It is playable as a small package in a dedicated OBT toolbox, but its narrow restriction and reactive nature mean it should not usually be a staple or included in large quantities.
Rules

[OBT]For actions resulting from an action card, "continue as if unblocked" moves the action card from the ash heap (where it went when the action was blocked) to limbo (where it should be if the action is not blocked). If the action card is not in the ash heap, then the action cannot be continued. [LSJ 20070808-1]

[OBT]If the action continues "as if unblocked", any Methuselahs that have declined to block before do not get another opportunity to block. [ANK 20190116]

[OBT]An action cannot continue "as if unblocked" after a combat resulting from a successful action (e.g. {Bum's Rush}). [RTR 19970630]

[OBT]If the action continues "as if unblocked", all action modifiers and reaction cards are still in effect, even those pertaining to a successful block. [RTR 19941109] [ANK 20190116]

[OBT]If the combat continues or a new combat begins, the after combat effect does not happen/is not usable (e.g. {Psyche!}, {Telepathic Tracking}). (Partial reversal of RTR 20010711) [RTR 20020501] [LSJ 19980109]
