About Screamer
Screamer, Ally, designed by Noora Hirvonen first released in november 2020 in the set Fifth Edition.
Screamer best fits a Hecata ally or toolbox deck that already wants several disposable allies, especially one using **The Unmasking**, where its 1 stealth reduction can help your predator or prey’s minion fail to block an important action and its second ability can protect a key ally from a directed action; however, it is a fragile 1-life, 1-strength, 1-bleed ally whose abilities require burning it, so it provides little value unless one of those situations occurs. There is no direct functional replacement, but **The Unmasking** is a much better inclusion for an ally-heavy strategy, while stronger standalone allies such as **Mylan Horseed** generally provide more reliable value; Screamer should therefore see play only as a small tutor target or one-of in a Hecata ally deck built to exploit its defensive timing, and should usually be omitted from vampire-focused, combat-focused, or general toolbox decks.
