Inhoudsopgave

Over Revenant

Revenant, Retainer, ontworpen door Pete Venters voor het eerst uitgebracht in oktober 1996 in de set Sabbat and was printed exactly in 5 different ways.

Revenant fits a Tzimisce **wall deck** that wants to block repeatedly: its permanent +1 intercept helps your key blocker, and its 2 life makes it sturdier than many intercept retainers. It is worth considering if you want intercept that stays in play, but it is not an automatic inclusion. If your vampires have Animalism, Raven Spy fills a similar role with a broader clan fit, though it has only 1 life; if your deck needs occasional intercept rather than a dedicated blocker, reaction cards may use the slot better. I would play a small number of Revenants in a Tzimisce-focused blocking deck, but skip it in a more aggressive deck.
