About Precognition

Precognition, Reaction, designed by Eric LaCombe, Anna Christenson first released in oktober 1996 in the set Sabbat and was printed exactly in 12 different ways.

Precognition is most useful in an **Auspex-based defensive or toolbox deck** that wants cheap, repeatable intercept and can block with vampires who may then enter combat; the superior version’s first-round damage prevention is a modest bonus, especially against combat-heavy prey or predators, but it does not make the card a strong combat defense by itself. Whether it should see play depends on your deck’s needs: **Telepathic Misdirection** is generally a stronger Auspex block-support option when you want to redirect a bleed, while **Enhanced Senses** offers the same +1 intercept at basic Auspex and can be more convenient if you prefer a persistent modifier rather than a reaction; **Eyes of Argus** can provide more intercept at superior Auspex, though it costs blood. Precognition is reasonable in a budget or intercept-dense build that values its zero blood cost and the superior damage prevention, but it is usually a filler choice rather than a card to prioritize over stronger, more flex
