Over Obsession
Obsession, Master, ontworpen door Mark Tedin voor het eerst uitgebracht in oktober 1996 in de set Sabbat and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Obsession fits a **metagame-specific control deck** that expects to face Toreador antitribu: put it on an opposing vampire, keep that vampire locked, and pressure its blood supply so unlocking becomes costly or fatal. It is a poor general-purpose card, though: it costs 2 pool and a master-phase action, works against only one clan, and is burned if the vampire goes to torpor. **Pentex Subversion** is usually the better choice for broadly useful minion control because it can target any minion, although it works differently. I would leave Obsession out of most decks and consider it only if Toreador antitribu decks are common in your local metagame.
