About Immaculate Vitae
Immaculate Vitae, Reaction, designed by David Kimmel first released in mei 1996 in the set Ancient Hearts.
Immaculate Vitae fits a **Quimbanda deck built to bleed or call votes repeatedly**, especially if its vampires can survive long enough to exploit a permanent inability to block. Its superior effect can also punish an opponent who relies on hunting to recover blood. The problem is timing: an opposing vampire must successfully hunt before you can play it, it costs 2, and the restriction disappears if that vampire goes to torpor. For getting actions through, broadly usable stealth such as **Lost in Crowds** or targeted block denial such as **Elder Impersonation** is usually better *if your deck has Obfuscate*, because those cards work when you need them rather than waiting for an opponent to hunt. I’d treat Immaculate Vitae as an occasional metagame choice against hunt-heavy decks, not a card that should see routine play.
