About Hand Contract
Hand Contract, Master, designed by Brian LeBlanc first released in maart 2007 in the set Sword of Caine.
Hand Contract is best in a Black Hand combat or bruise-bleed toolbox—especially decks with several durable Black Hand vampires that want to force fights with an opposing blocker, intercept vampire, or key utility minion, since it is a free Trifle that turns one enemy into a repeatable +1-stealth rush target; it is less attractive in pure bleed, vote, or wall decks, where spending a master phase and a card on conditional combat access is usually inefficient. It is not strictly inferior to another card: Clandestine Contract is stronger in an Assamite/Banu Haqim deck because it gives immediate combat access and keeps the contract effect, while Priority Contract can be better when your deck is built around Banu Haqim contract synergies and oust rewards; otherwise, direct rush actions or vampire abilities are generally better because they do not require a setup master card. I would play Hand Contract only as a focused package—roughly 2–5 copies—in a dedicated Black Hand combat or combat-con
