About Elysian Fields
Elysian Fields, Master, designed by Ken Meyer, Jr. first released in oktober 1996 in the set Sabbat and was printed exactly in 5 different ways.
Elysian Fields fits a Lasombra deck that takes several important actions each turn—especially a bleed or political deck that needs occasional stealth to get actions through. Its strength is reusable stealth, but at 2 pool and a master-card slot, it is hard to justify in a deck already packed with Obtenebration stealth cards such as **Shroud of Night** or **Cloak the Gathering**. **Monastery of Shadows** is a more flexible reusable option because it can help any of your minions, though it costs more, so it is not strictly better in a Lasombra-only deck. I would consider one copy of Elysian Fields in a Lasombra deck that regularly wants stealth but does not run a heavy stealth package; otherwise, I would leave it out.
