About Dragonbound
Dragonbound, Event, designed by Richard Thomas first released in mei 2004 in the set Gehenna and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.
Dragonbound best serves combat, rush, and wall decks—especially those built to put opposing vampires into torpor and leave them there, such as Tzimisce, Gangrel, Nosferatu, or Tupdog-based strategies—because it converts a stable torpor advantage into recurring pool damage for the entire table; however, it also punishes your own torporized vampires and does nothing immediately, so it is weaker in bleed, vote, or fast-evolving combat decks. Fame is generally the better and more reliable torpor-punishment card when attached to a key opposing vampire, since it produces a large immediate pool loss and does not penalize your whole deck, while Dragonbound is most attractive as additional pressure in a dedicated torpor-control deck. It should see play selectively, usually as a one-copy event in decks that can consistently create and maintain multiple enemy vampires in torpor, but it is not broadly strong enough to include in most decks and should be avoided if your strategy regularly leaves yo
