Cold War, Political action, designed by Ludovic Salvador first released in oktober 2025 in the set Sabbat V5.
Cold War best fits a titled Sabbat political deck, especially a Cardinal/Regent vote deck that can exploit its dual effect to burn 3 pool and destroy an important location such as Villein, The Rack, or a combat engine; however, its narrow requirement, dependence on winning a referendum, and one-shot targeting make it inferior to broadly useful political actions such as Kine Resources Contested or Reckless Agitation for reliable pool damage, while Banishment is usually stronger when the goal is to disrupt a dangerous vampire. It can be a reasonable metagame or silver-bullet inclusion in a Cardinal/Regent deck that frequently faces powerful locations, but it generally should not see play as a standard political action because most decks gain more from votes that provide pool damage, table pressure, or vampire removal without requiring the location target to matter.
