Clockwerx is best in a **Blood Brothers combat deck**, especially one built around equipment that you want to shift between same-circle Brothers as fights develop; its superior version’s ability to move equipment at any point in combat makes it a useful, free bit of tactical flexibility. Whether it should see play depends on your equipment package: it is worth considering if you regularly have multiple ready Brothers and valuable equipment that can be stranded on the wrong one, but it is usually a niche support card rather than a staple, since it does not provide equipment or combat effects by itself. There is no universally better direct replacement for its equipment-moving role; if you mainly want to improve combat, dedicated combat cards are generally more valuable, while **Theft of Vitae** or **Disarm**, for example, serve different purposes rather than replacing Clockwerx.
