Auspex

About Auspex

Auspex, Master, designed by Richard Thomas, Greg Simanson first released in augustus 1994 in the set Jyhad and was printed exactly in 8 different ways.

Auspex is most useful in a deck whose key vampires lack Auspex but need it consistently—for example, to play Auspex-based intercept or bleed-redirection cards. The extra capacity can also matter when a card checks a vampire’s age, but it does not give you another blood counter. If your crypt can instead include vampires with superior Auspex, that is usually better: they need no master-phase action or card draw and can use the stronger versions of Auspex cards. **Sanguine Instruction** is another way to grant a Discipline without spending a master-phase action, though it requires an action and can be blocked. Auspex should see play in a deck with a specific vampire-and-card combination it enables, but generally not as a routine inclusion in a deck that already has enough native Auspex.
