Acheron Vortex

About Acheron Vortex

Acheron Vortex, Action modifier, designed by Ginés Quiñonero-Santiago first released in juni 2018 in the set Lost Kindred and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.

Acheron Vortex fits a **Harbingers of Skulls action deck** that needs its bleeds or other important actions to get past blockers, especially in a metagame where most opposing minions lack Necromancy and Obtenebration. Against those minions, its −1 intercept serves much like +1 stealth; against minions with either discipline, it does nothing. If your vampires can use Obfuscate, **Lost in Crowds** is generally a better stealth card because it works regardless of the blocker’s disciplines. I’d play Acheron Vortex as a situational supplement in a Harbingers deck that struggles to get actions through, rather than make it a staple or rely on it as the deck’s only way past blockers.
