React with Convictionは、Dominate、Presence、Dementation、Chimerstry、またはSerpentisに対抗することを想定したimbuedのツールボックス、ウォール、または防御デッキで最も有効である。特に、Entrancement、Conditioning系のアクション、政治的操作、またはディシプリンを必要とするコンバット・ストライクから重要なimbuedを守るデッキに向いている。コストが0であり、相手のカードのコストを支払わずにアクション全体またはストライクをキャンセルできるため、関連する対戦では非常に効率的である。ただし、マッチアップへの依存度が非常に高い。他のディシプリンを使うデッキに対しては何もしないことがあり、1回限りの防御にすぎない。普遍的に優れた直接の代替カードはないが、Second Sightのようなより幅広いカードや、インターセプトに焦点を当てたConvictionsは、安定した防御という点では一般に優れている。一方、コンバット重視のデッキでは、毎ラウンドの生存力を高めるカードを好むこともある。したがって、React with Convictionは防御型imbuedデッキでメタゲームに応じて1枚または2枚採用すべきだが、あらゆるimbued構築に自動的に採用すべきカードではない。
