About Tranquility Shield
Tranquility Shield, Combat, designed by Mark Kelly first released in May 2025 in the set New Blood III.
Tranquility Shield fits a Salubri combat or blocking deck that expects its vampires to stay in combat for several rounds: its prevention repeats each round, and its protection against frenzy can matter in the right matchup. For a deck that mainly wants to survive a single big strike, **Rolling with the Punches** is usually a better Fortitude prevention card; a deck with Presence may prefer **Majesty** to end combat altogether. I’d play Tranquility Shield as a niche card, not a staple—particularly if your combats often last multiple rounds or frenzy cards are common in your playgroup.
