Toby (G4), Vampire, designed by Ken Meyer, Jr. first released in May 2008 in the set Twilight Rebellion.

Toby mainly benefits a mid- to high-capacity Anarch bleed deck that can reliably make its acting vampires Anarchs and wants repeatable bleed boosts, particularly a Nosferatu-based stealth-bleed or toolbox deck with enough blood to fuel his ability; however, paying 5 pool for a Camarilla support vampire whose effect costs one blood per use is usually inefficient, and Toby competes poorly with stronger crypt vampires that provide useful disciplines, built-in bleed, or more impactful support while also advancing your main game plan. In most decks, cards such as `Anarch Convert` are more important because they enable the Anarch requirement, while dedicated bleed modifiers and stealth are generally better investments than adding Toby; he can be playable in a themed Anarch Nosferatu deck or a deck designed to exploit repeated small bleed boosts, but he should not generally see competitive play unless your crypt, blood-management package, and strategy specifically make his ability unusually r
