About Scrounging
Scrounging, Action, designed by William O'Connor first released in August 2002 in the set Camarilla Edition and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
Scrounging fits a setup or combo deck that needs to find particular cards and can spare a minion action to dig through its library; its +1 stealth helps that action succeed. For most decks, though, an action is a steep price for card selection. Cards such as Dreams of the Sphinx and The Barrens are generally better ways to improve access to cards without spending a minion’s action, though they work differently rather than replacing Scrounging exactly. I’d consider Scrounging as a niche inclusion when finding a key piece matters more than taking another action, not as a general-purpose staple.
