Samson (G2)

About Samson (G2)

Samson (G2), Vampire, designed by Amy Weber first released in October 1996 in the set Sabbat and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.

Samson is useful only in an extremely low-capacity Ventrue antitribu/Sabbat swarm deck that wants a cheap vampire to increase crypt density, provide an extra body for blocking, bleeding, or diablerie, and help meet clan or sect requirements; however, since his only printed text is “Sabbat” and he has no disciplines or meaningful abilities, he is generally too inefficient for competitive play. Better options include Lydia Van Cuelen, another cheap Ventrue antitribu who provides useful discipline access, or Gwendel if you can afford a slightly larger vampire with stronger discipline support; both contribute more to a deck’s game plan than Samson. Samson should therefore normally not see play except as a budget placeholder, a thematic choice, or in a very specific crypt-composition strategy where having the absolute cheapest possible Sabbat Ventrue antitribu matters.
