About Reality
Reality, Action, designed by Brian LeBlanc first released in June 2001 in the set Final Nights and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Reality fits a control deck built around older vampires with superior Chimerstry, especially one that can lock opposing vampires before acting. Its superior effect is the main attraction: it sends a younger vampire to the uncontrolled region along with their cards and counters, potentially undoing a large investment. At inferior, it can sideline a key vampire, but that vampire can take an action to burn Reality, so it is less decisive. Banishment is generally the better choice for a vote deck that can pass referendums: it does not require Chimerstry or a locked target. Reality is worth considering if your deck already has superior Chimerstry and reliable ways to lock valuable targets; otherwise, its 3-blood cost and narrow targeting requirements make it a situational card rather than a staple.
