About Powerbase: Munich
Powerbase: Munich, Master, designed by Michele Bertilorenzi first released in May 2025 in the set New Blood III.
Munich fits a deck with several ready Oblivion vampires, especially a Hecata deck that can keep blood on its vampires while steadily moving surplus blood into pool; its ability to move pool back onto whichever Oblivion vampire needs it also adds flexibility. **Blood Doll** is a better general-purpose choice if you mainly want that exchange on one vampire, because it has no discipline requirement and cannot be burned by the Independent action printed on Munich. **Villein** is better when you need a larger, immediate pool gain rather than one blood per turn. Munich should see play as a supplemental pool-management card in a blood-rich Oblivion deck, but its slow return and vulnerability to Independent vampires make it hard to justify as the deck’s primary source of pool.
