About Normal (G1)

Normal (G1), Vampire, designed by Tim Bradstreet, Grant Goleash first released in August 1994 in the set Jyhad and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.

“Normal” is only useful in a Group 1 Malkavian crypt that needs the absolute cheapest possible vampire, such as a stealth-bleed or vote deck trying to maximize crypt density, but its lack of disciplines, special ability, and meaningful superior-capacity potential makes it an extremely weak inclusion; even in a budget or theme deck, a functional low-capacity Malkavian such as Dimple is generally better because it contributes discipline icons and therefore supports your actions, while larger Malkavians with useful abilities are preferable whenever your crypt can tolerate the extra capacity. Normal should not see competitive play and is best reserved for casual, novelty, or deliberately handicap-oriented decks.
