About Foreshadowing Destruction
Foreshadowing Destruction, Action modifier, designed by Harold Arthur McNeill, Javier Santos first released in May 1996 in the set Ancient Hearts and was printed exactly in 6 different ways.
Foreshadowing Destruction fits a **Dominate bleed deck** that expects to bring its prey down to 9 or fewer pool before making a finishing push. At superior Dominate, it gives +3 bleed for no blood cost, making it especially useful for vampires short on blood. **Conditioning** is generally the better card: it gives +3 bleed at superior Dominate regardless of the target’s pool, though it costs 1 blood, and its inferior effect is stronger too. Foreshadowing Destruction is worth playing as a small supplement if your deck often runs low on blood or wants extra finishing power, but I would not use it as the deck’s main bleed modifier.
Rules
10/08/2026
[DOM] Can be played against a target with 10 or more pool and does not count against the limit in this case: it will only have a lingering effect (+3 bleed if the target happens to have 9 or less). [PIB 20110817] [RTR 20191031]
10/08/2026
[DOM] If the bleed bonus is lost during the action (eg. {Deflection} to another target), it does not count against the limit anymore and an additional bleed modifier can be used. [RTR 20191031] [ANK 20211019-2]
