About Big Game
Big Game, Action, designed by Lawrence Snelly first released in February 2005 in the set Kindred Most Wanted.
Big Game fits a combat-focused rush deck that hunts Red List minions, especially one built around collecting Trophies. Against a Red List target, the optional maneuver or press helps win the fight, and the unlock lets a surviving attacker act again. In a deck that does not reliably face or create Red List targets, I would usually prefer a more flexible rush card: Deep Song is stronger for vampires with Animalism because it can also serve as bleed pressure, while Bum’s Rush is a straightforward alternative. Big Game is worth playing as a few copies in a dedicated Red List/Trophy deck, but I would not make it a default combat-deck staple.
