About Aura Absorption
Aura Absorption, Action modifier/reaction, designed by Mike Danza first released in December 2001 in the set Bloodlines and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
Aura Absorption best fits a **Mytherceria-based toolbox deck, especially Kiasyd**, that wants to take stealthy actions while retaining enough intercept to block important opposing actions: inferior Mytherceria provides free intercept, while superior Mytherceria lets the same card serve as free stealth, reducing the risk of drawing the wrong type of support card. It is less attractive in a dedicated bleed deck that rarely blocks, or a dedicated wall that rarely needs stealth; remember that its reaction modes do not themselves let a locked vampire react, so you still need wake effects when appropriate. **Enhanced Senses is generally better for an Auspex deck**, giving the same +1 intercept at inferior Auspex without burning blood and +2 intercept at superior, so Aura Absorption's Auspex mode is mainly emergency flexibility. For stealth-focused decks with the relevant disciplines, **Lost in Crowds** offers +2 stealth at superior Obfuscate for no blood, while **Shadow Play** offers +2 stea
