About Aggressive Tactics

Aggressive Tactics, Master, designed by John Matson first released in October 1996 in the set Sabbat and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.

Aggressive Tactics is mainly useful in dedicated attrition or hand-disruption decks—especially control, intercept/wall, or rush decks that can defend a persistent master and want to weaken a combo, stealth-bleed, or reaction-heavy opponent—but reducing hand size by only one is rarely worth spending 2 pool and a master phase, particularly because any vampire can remove it with a directed action; there is no universally superior card with exactly the same effect, but in most decks flexible masters such as Wash or Sudden Reversal, or stronger strategic cards such as Dreams of the Sphinx for your own hand advantage, will provide more value, so Aggressive Tactics should generally not see play unless your deck is specifically built around sustained hand denial or your metagame contains a vulnerable hand-size-dependent strategy.
