About Abaddon (G7)
Abaddon (G7), Vampire, designed by Ken Meyer, Jr. first released in January 2024 in the set Fifth Edition (Companion) and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Abaddon fits a **Salubri combat deck** that expects repeated fights: the free maneuver helps set the range for a weapon or ranged strike, and the press lets Abaddon pursue an opponent or leave combat. There is no strictly better replacement—those abilities are useful without spending cards—but an 8-capacity vampire is a significant investment. If your deck mainly wants to bleed or defend, a cheaper Salubri with the disciplines you need may be better value; if it wants ranged combat, a **.44 Magnum** can supply both a strong strike and a maneuver. Abaddon should see play when your deck can turn frequent combats into a real advantage, but I would not include it just for its combat text in a deck that rarely fights.
