About Suppressing Fire
Suppressing Fire, Action modifier, designed by Travis Ingram first released in February 2005 in the set Kindred Most Wanted and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Suppressing Fire best fits a gun-based toolbox or wall deck with several ready, unlocked gun-carrying minions, especially one that wants key bleed, political, or equipment actions to succeed while another minion provides cover; however, it is usually too conditional for most decks because it requires a second ready minion with a gun and only gives -1 intercept, without helping when you are acting alone. In stealth-oriented decks, ordinary stealth cards such as `Lost in Crowds`, `Swallowed by the Night`, or `Forgotten Labyrinth` are generally better because they are usable by the acting minion, while gun decks often prefer broader cards such as `Diversion` or strong intercept denial and combat packages depending on their discipline spread. Suppressing Fire can be worthwhile as a small inclusion in a dedicated gun swarm or gun wall, particularly if your minions naturally carry guns and frequently act in pairs, but it should not see play as a generic action modifier and is usually inferio
