About Sonar
Sonar, Reaction, designed by Avery Butterworth first released in February 2005 in the set Kindred Most Wanted and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Sonar fits a **Protean-based intercept deck**, especially one that wants to block a range of actions and can use its superior [PRO] effect for an unrestricted +1 intercept. It costs no blood, but delaying its replacement until after the turn makes it less attractive in a deck that relies on drawing through reactions quickly; at inferior [pro], its directed-action restriction is also a significant drawback. **Enhanced Senses** is a stronger intercept card if your vampires have Auspex, particularly at superior [AUS], though it serves a different discipline package. Sonar should see play as a situational option in a Protean deck that needs more intercept, but I would not treat it as an automatic inclusion or build a deck around it.
