About Precision
Precision, Action, designed by Imaginary Friends Studios first released in September 2007 in the set Lords of the Night.
Precision is mainly useful in a niche Celerity toolbox or stealth-action deck that can identify cards in the prey’s hand—often through hand knowledge, repeated effects, or a metagame full of key combo pieces—because forcing a discard can disrupt a carefully assembled hand, while the superior effect adds only a modest 1-pool loss for 1 blood. In most decks, however, it is too unreliable: without knowing what the prey holds, the action may accomplish nothing beyond +1 stealth, and even when it succeeds the superior version is an inefficient source of pool damage. More focused cards are generally better, such as **Govern the Unaligned** or **Enchant Kindred** for reliable forward pressure, **Conditioning** or **Threats** for stronger bleeds, and targeted disruption such as **Sudden Reversal**, **Wash**, **Delaying Tactics**, or **Slam** when the relevant card type is known. Precision can be a clever metagame or theme inclusion, but it should generally not see play in competitive decks unl
