About Enrage
Enrage, Action, designed by Becky Jollensten first released in March 2007 in the set Sword of Caine and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Enrage is most useful in a **Presence-based combat or rush deck**, especially one using Freak Drive or other untap effects: its inferior version provides a free +1 strength and an additional stealthy way to initiate combat, while its superior version can punish low-blood vampires in a political or wall deck by making most actions cost two extra blood. However, it is fairly situational and usually not worth dedicated deck space; for straightforward rushing, **Bum’s Rush** is generally better because it immediately enters combat without first requiring Enrage’s setup action, while **Deep Song** is often better in combat decks that have access to Potence and/or Animalism because it combines combat entry with additional useful effects. The superior version can be annoying but is less reliable than permanent or repeatable effects such as **Mind Numb**, since the target can hunt, rush, or simply decline to act, so Enrage should see play only in specialized Presence combat, rush-toolbox, or b
