About Brinksmanship
Brinksmanship, Political action, designed by Peter Bergting first released in May 2003 in the set Anarchs.
Brinksmanship fits a dedicated **library-exhaustion deck** that can make opponents run out of cards while keeping them from successfully withdrawing. It is a risky win condition: an opponent must start an unlock phase with an empty library *and* less than a full hand, and if anyone does successfully withdraw, you are ousted instead. If your deck is primarily a political deck looking to oust its prey, **Kine Resources Contested** is generally a better use of a referendum because it deals pool damage without requiring that setup or exposing you to that drawback. Brinksmanship can see play as a surprise card in a deck built specifically to exploit it, but I would not include it in a typical vote deck.
