About Abomination
Abomination, Action, designed by Steve Prescott first released in June 2001 in the set Final Nights and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Abomination best fits a Gangrel or Protean combat/wall deck that can reliably field a ready unlocked werewolf ally, since it converts that ally plus an action into an independent 4-capacity vampire with superior Protean, +1 strength, an additional strike, a maneuver, and built-in rush capability; however, the requirement is extremely narrow, the resulting vampire has no other disciplines, and sacrificing an ally while spending a vampire action makes the card costly and inconsistent. There is no direct upgrade with exactly the same effect, but most decks will get better results from broadly useful cards such as Deep Song for repeatable stealth, bleed, or rush actions, or from established ally-support cards such as The Unmasking, while combat decks generally prefer vampires with more disciplines and better blood economics. Abomination can be strong in a dedicated werewolf-and-Gangrel combat deck, especially when the ally would otherwise be expendable, but it should not see general compet
