About Using the Advantage
Using the Advantage, Master, designed by Matt Wilson first released in October 1996 in the set Sabbat and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
Advantage is best in a slow, political Nosferatu antitribu deck that regularly controls the Edge, especially one built around votes, Parity Shift, Banishment, or other effects that naturally gain and retain the Edge; it provides repeatable pool gain without draining a vampire, but the one-pool cost and requirement to control the Edge make it unreliable in ordinary decks. In most cases, **Vessel** or **Blood Doll** are better cards because they provide pool gain without depending on Edge control, while **Minion Tap** is usually stronger when you need a large immediate pool transfer rather than gradual recovery. Advantage can be worthwhile as a thematic or specialized inclusion in an Edge-focused political deck, but it generally should not see play in competitive decks unless your strategy consistently controls the Edge and can protect this card from being contested or removed.
