About Second Sight
Second Sight, Conviction, designed by Avery Butterworth first released in April 2006 in the set Nights of Reckoning.
Second Sight fits an **Imbued deck that both blocks monster actions and takes actions it needs to get through**: its two modes make it useful whether your imbued is defending or acting, and it costs no blood or pool. If your main goal is blocking vampires, **The Unmasking** is often a stronger intercept card because it provides an ongoing bonus to allies, though it also helps other players’ allies and does nothing for your own actions. Second Sight is worth playing in an Imbued deck that values that flexibility, but it is not an automatic inclusion; a deck focused almost entirely on defense may prefer more persistent intercept.
