Rewilding best fits a Gangrel toolbox, wall, or stealth-intercept deck that can reliably get directed actions through and wants to punish opponents relying on powerful locations such as The Rack, Bowl of Convergence, or Haven Uncovered; burning the location plus 2 pool is an excellent swing for zero blood, but the card is highly conditional and does nothing against decks without worthwhile locations. There is no strictly better in-clan replacement, although generic cards such as `Sudden Reversal` are better for preventing important master cards before they enter play, while `Demolition` is a broader location-removal alternative but is generally weaker because it costs more and causes less pool damage. Rewilding should not be an automatic inclusion, since many decks will have few or no valid targets and a directed action can be blocked, but it deserves one or two copies in a location-heavy metagame or as a targeted toolbox slot when your deck has stealth, untap, or strong combat consequ
