About Redline
Redline, Master, designed by Brian LeBlanc first released in May 2003 in the set Anarchs.
Redline fits a **vote-heavy deck that expects opponents to diablerize**—for example, a combat deck that puts vampires into torpor and has enough votes to pass the resulting blood hunt. Instead of losing their diablerist, your opponent loses control of it to you. That is a powerful swing, and the Camarilla-hunting ability is a bonus, but the trigger is too rare to build a deck around: an opponent must diablerize, the referendum must pass, and you must have Redline ready. **Graverobbing** is generally a better card to plan around if your deck has Dominate and can put opposing vampires into torpor; it steals a vampire through an action rather than relying on an opponent’s diablerie. Redline is worth considering as a one-off in the right vote/combat deck or a diablerie-heavy playgroup, but it usually should not take a slot in a typical deck.
