About Projectile
Projectile, Combat, designed by Veronica Jones first released in February 2005 in the set Kindred Most Wanted and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Projectile best fits a Celerity-based gun-combat deck, especially one using weapons such as .44 Magnum or Saturday-Night Special and needing a reliable ranged strike that cannot be dodged; its superior version is also useful for gaining one additional strike, but the limitation prevents repeated strike chains. In most Celerity combat decks, **Blur** is generally better as an additional-strike card because it provides more reliable strike extension without requiring a ranged weapon, while **Pursuit** or other gun-combat cards may be better when the deck specifically needs maneuvers or efficient weapon-strike support; however, those cards do not replicate Projectile’s undodgeable ranged strike. Projectile should therefore see play only as a small meta-dependent inclusion in a dedicated Celerity gun deck, particularly in environments with many dodge effects, and is usually not strong enough for broad inclusion or non-gun Celerity combat.
