About Memory Rift
Memory Rift, Action modifier, designed by Jared Smith first released in January 2016 in the set Anarch Unbound and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Memory Rift fits an Anarch action deck with access to obfuscate and either dementation or presence, especially one that needs key bleeds or political actions to get past a specific blocker. Its strength is flexibility: it can shut out a titled or younger blocker, add stealth before it is needed, and provide a way out if the action is blocked. For pure stealth, Lost in Crowds is usually better at superior obfuscate; for combat protection, Majesty is stronger at superior presence. Neither does everything Memory Rift does, though. I’d play a few copies if your Anarchs can use multiple modes and your opponents rely on particular blockers, but I wouldn’t treat it as a staple in a deck that only uses its +1 stealth.
