About Indomitability
Indomitability, Combat, designed by Dan Smith, Chris Stevens first released in August 1994 in the set Jyhad and was printed exactly in 8 different ways.
Indomitability is most useful in a combat deck that regularly blocks or fights and can use presses to control combat duration, especially a deck with vampires who have Fortitude and want cheap damage prevention without spending blood; at basic Fortitude it prevents 1 damage, while superior Fortitude offers a press or prevention plus an optional press. Its main competition is **Soak**, which prevents 1 damage at no discipline and is usually the more flexible choice for a deck without Fortitude, and **Skin of Rock**, which prevents 1 damage with Fortitude and can prevent more at superior, making it stronger when reliable damage prevention is the priority. Indomitability is worth playing when your vampires have Fortitude and the press is useful to your combat plan, but it is a modest, situational combat card rather than an automatic inclusion; favor cards that prevent more damage or advance your deck’s main combat strategy when space is tight.
