About Hidden Pathways
Hidden Pathways, Action, designed by Craig Maher first released in October 1996 in the set Sabbat and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
Hidden Pathways fits an Obfuscate deck that repeatedly takes **non-bleeding actions against its prey**—for example, rushing the prey’s minions or stealing the prey’s allies or equipment. Once in play, it gives all your minions that +1 stealth, even those without Obfuscate, so it can pay off over several turns. It is much less useful in a conventional stealth-bleed deck: it does **not** help bleeds, and most political actions are not directed actions. For a deck that only occasionally needs stealth, **Forgotten Labyrinth** is usually a better choice because it provides more stealth when needed without spending an action setting up a card your prey can burn. I would play Hidden Pathways only in a deck built to exploit its bonus repeatedly, and then in a small number of copies because you can have only one in play.
