Finding the Path is best suited to a dedicated political or vote-control deck that can reliably pass referendums and exploit table politics, particularly in four- or five-player games where you can choose low-pool opponents while allowing stronger or less relevant Methuselahs to gain only a small amount; it may also be useful as a zero-cost political action for triggering vote-based effects. However, its effect is modest and symmetrical: you must choose at least half the table, the total pool remains unchanged, and the unchosen Methuselahs gain pool, so it rarely creates meaningful pressure. Cards such as Parity Shift, which can transfer three pool from one richer opponent to you, and Kine Resources Contested, which can burn considerably more pool from a vampire-heavy opponent, are generally much stronger, while Banishment or other political actions may provide more decisive control.
