About Diversion
Diversion, Combat, designed by Andrew Bates, Noora Hirvonen first released in May 2003 in the set Anarchs and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Diversion fits **Anarch combat decks** whose vampires have some mix of Celerity, Fortitude, and Thaumaturgy, especially decks that want flexible combat cards rather than a dedicated package for one discipline. Its strongest use is often the [tha] ranged blood steal: the optional maneuver helps you reach a safe range while draining an opposing vampire. If your deck mainly wants additional strikes, **Blur** is a better choice, particularly with superior Celerity; if it mainly wants blood theft, **Theft of Vitae** offers a stronger payoff at superior Thaumaturgy. Diversion should see play when you can use several of its modes across your crypt, but it is less compelling if most vampires can use only one—you would usually prefer a more focused card in that slot.
